Once you have comprehended the model, exercises to use this framework will provide a lasting methodology to manage and analyze change. This model will bring you the three essential capabilities Set:

  • Operations and Finance
  • Sales and Marketing

As a business coach and author, as well as a successful entrepreneur Robbie Steinhouse guides you on how to coach people for success in their working lives.Using his own unique NLP inspired models – he demonstrates how to coach someone to raise their game and overcome limiting beliefs. A key idea is how to move from mediocre to great: Why Not You!This presentation is based on three books by Robert Steinhouse: Think Like an Entrepreneur (2008 Pearson); Brilliant Decision Making (2010) and Mindful Business Leadership (2017).

The talk is separated into the following sections:

From Think Like an Entrepreneur is the idea of breaking down the various business functions, into the ‘Capability Sets’ fundamentally technical disciplines of Operations, Finance and Law (the world of task-based activities), and the more people-based disciplines of Sales and Marketing (the world of relationship-based activities). The concept of the ‘pure’ leadership is also introduced, as a third essential Set.

The point is made that any leader will probably have become very good at one of the two basic Capability Sets but less good at the other. He or she will need to master new ways of thinking, being and acting relevant to their weaker ‘basic Set’, as well as the skills and mindsets of ‘pure’ leadership.

From Brilliant Decision Making and the Leadership Matrix – Leaders and entrepreneurs will be introduced to a new coaching model to help them to make decisions, to help build a powerful culture, create strategies and resolve problems.

The Leadership Matrix model was created by Robert Steinhouse as a comprehensive approach to dealing with organizational change. The vertical and horizontal titles will be explained and then a brief description of each “square” will be given. Once the model is comprehended by participants, exercises to use this framework will provide a lasting methodology to manage and analyze change. It is covered in Mindful Business Leadership published in 2017.

From The Leadership Matrix from Mindful Business Leadership, Each capability set is broken down further into three sections: Vision, Yin and Yang which produces a matrix of energies that the leader needs to be able to call on. Each energy has its own picture below:Each picture is explained and why it is important for the leader to master them. This will help the leader move from a specialist to a generalist.

About your Trainer

Robbie is a NLP Master trainer, keynote speaker, executive coach and trainer in leadership and entrepreneurship. He is the founder of NLP School in UK and as a Head of Training. He delivers one-on-one senior management leadership coaching, global leadership development programs, and also NLP training to companies and people. He is interested in personal and behavioral development training. Meanwhile, one of his project is be part of the team in France Paris Technical College, developing a sustainable leadership development program for Paris Bank.

Robbie is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC)® with the ICF (International Coaching Federation.) He is also a Certified NLP Master Trainer & Consultancy from NLP University, USA. His areas of expertise are coaching, NLP and people-related knowledge, this is because his career was started from recruitment, property and insurance related industry. Business set up also relevant with those areas and now the businesses are operating under an independent team.  From the continuous growth from the business, he and his team found that they really need more people skills, beside the business skills. As the operating of business eventually rely on people.

Meanwhile he started confused with those tools and models used for helping others. Until today he found that the most useful tools is NLP, particularly when NLP connecting with coaching method. As he is so much passionate on people related knowledge, in 2002 he quit from his management position and fully concentrating in coaching and training activities. He started to organize NLP practitioner and master practitioner program, founded the NLP School and become the leading NLP training provider in United Kingdom. Each program has more than 100 students participated.
