Join the Premier Established International Distance Learning Training for Neuroscience coaching!

How does your brain work?

  • Understanding how your brain actually works (avoiding the myths and hype) helps you and your client think better, feel more fully, make better decisions and act with wisdom.

Do you want …

  • To learn and USE the research that is transforming coaching before it goes mainstream?
  • To extend your skills and expand your practice?
  • To gain credibility and visibility as a coach?
  • To work effectively with more clients and better results?
  • To explore how the brain works – complex and fascinating – your mind in physical form?
  • And… to avoid both the popular simplifications and the academic mystifications?

You need to know about this fascinating area.

Coaching is based on psychological models.Neuroscience is becoming more dominant and disrupting many standard psychological models. The new models you use need to be research based.

PHYCHOLOGY

You need to know neuroscience or get left behind.

But not any old neuroscience will do.
It must be credible- no more talk of ‘happy hormones’ or ‘left brained and ‘right brained people. It must be practical – Knowing the Latin names of the brain parts doesn’t help your client. We understand better how the brain works and our understanding is still growing.

This understanding will give your practice:

You want to not just stay relevant but stand out and get great results as a coach – you need to understand what is behind every word your client says and every action your client takes.

Now here is a program that gives precisely what you need.

The Forefront of Coaching

Neuroscience findings are disrupting many of the psychological models on which some coaching models are based. You will get the latest research based models in this training.

COACHING THE BRAIN :

PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS OF NEUROSCIENCE TO COACHING

The training is based on the book by bestselling authors Joseph O’Connor and Andrea Lages published in 2019 by Routledge.

They have gone through all the research and done all the spade work (so you don’t have to) to give you exactly the material you need – no more, no less.

And it is immediately practical.

The course is entirely distance learning, given by Joseph O’Connor, the creator of the course.

You can do it in your own time, at your own pace, in your own place.

‘Joseph and Andrea pursue brain-based leadership coaching with flair and precision. I highly recommend their book’

 Marshall Goldsmith

Thinkers 50 #1 Executive coach and only two-time #1 leadership thinker in the world.

{ Module 1 : The Neuroscience of Goals }

Neuroplasticity – how the brain changes itself

Attention and neuroplasticity

Habits – forming and reforming habits in a brain-friendly way

The three superpowers of our prefrontal cortex and how to use them.

What do you want?

Explore this fundamental coaching question.

And we will dig deeper to HOW we want.

You will be able to:

01

Move from a ‘problem solver’ to a ‘problem dissolver’.

02

Guide your clients more effectively to make better decisions which will get them better results.

03

Access your natural creativity (Our brains are naturally creative – given the right stimulus)

04

Help your clients past the tricks and traps that stop them thinking clearly.

05

Help them separate expectations from goals

06

Help them to manage effectively by agreement and not by expectation.

{ Your questions answered }

Is this course right for me?

If you are a coach or professional who works with clients to change their thinking – then this course is not just right – it’s essential.

Do I need any preparation or prior knowledge?

No , you can take this course as a stand-alone module, you will get all the knowledge you need in the course.

Do I have to be a coach to take this certification?

You do not have to be a professional coach. However, you will need basic coaching skills. This course is not designed to teach the basics of coaching. When you apply, tell us about your coaching experience and training and we will let you know you if this course is right for you.

I am a certified coach – do I need this?

Yes! It’s highly unlikely that your previous coaching training will have cov- ered this material. It’s specialised. It’s up to the minute. It makes you rethink coaching models.

Do I have to know neuroscience to take this course?

A basic knowledge of the brain is fine. You do not need specialized scientif- ic knowledge or the Latin names of brain structures. The course will cover all you need to know about how the brain works and the principal neu- rotransmitters.

There is so much hype about neuroscience, it can’t live up to its promises.

Neuroscience has much to offer, you’ll be surprised. Though, you’re right. It doesn’t live up to the deceptive and inflated claims made by some people. The problem is in the claims, not in the science.

Surely the brain and mind are different?

How can knowing about the brain help me with my clients? Think of people like candles – there is the material (wax) and there is the flame. We pay attention to the flame, we are fascinated by the beautiful, luminous glow, but that flame cannot exist without the wax to support it. If you wanted to make the flame, bigger, brighter, stronger, you would have to study the wax too.

What supporting materials will I have?

Video playback available for 3 months. 150-page manual for all 3 mod- ules. Access to Joseph for questions during the live session.

What can I do with this skill, knowledge and certificate?

Be a more skillful, knowledgeable coach! And…you will be at the leading edge of coaching. You can expand your reach of clients. If an exec- utive has a choice of a coach and a coach who knows neuroscience, everything being equal, which one will they choose? The one with the extra skill and knowledge in the latest developments wins the client.

Is the course practical – can I go straight out and use what I learn?
Yes! Not only can you do that, but you will do it while you do the course!
During the program, are there any demonstrations or practical sessions?

Yes. Besides during the program, there are few more practical sessions to be arranged. This is to make sure the effectiveness of the learning progress of the participants.

What are the assessment video's requirements and the process of submission?
  • Participants are required to submit a recorded video coaching session (45-60 minutes) with a certification fee of USD 50 (Life-time).
  • The recorded video can be done in either face to face or Zoom virtual (must have clear resolution and be able to see the facial expression and body language).
  • The completed video shall be submitted in English. If the coaching session was conducted in language other than English i.e Chinese, an English subtitle shall be included at the end.
  • All submissions shall be emailed to Joseph directly for the evaluation. Once evaluation is done, a fee payment link shall be sent by ICC to the participant.
  • If the evaluation is not going through, Joseph shall give feedback to participants for re-submission within 3 months. The maximum re-submission is one time only. Otherwise participants are advised to re attend the full program.
Is the participants who completed the full program will be qualified as a certified coach for neuroscience?
  • No. This is not a coaching certification program but the full program is accredited by the ICC.
  • The ICC Certificate in Neuroscience Coaching is awarded to participants who complete all three modules (in any order).
  • Each module carries its own Lambent Certificate in Neuroscience Coaching.
  • Successfully completing this program will also gives you the membership of theInternational Coaching Community for free.
What is the difference between ICC certification and this CTB certification program?

ICC certification is a professional coaching certification program while CTB certification program comes with specific modules which are suitable for the public. Meanwhile it also an advanced program for those coaches who wish to further equip themselves with the latest and scientifically proof coaching approach. CTB certification program is not meant to substitute a professional coaching certification program.

Are there any further levels to be available for the CTB certification program?

CTB is a specific and advanced certification program which is designed on module basis. It doesn’t have a level basis but will have further advanced modules for continuous learning.
